Meet Rick Drumheller

Hello, and thank you for your time and anticipated support. My name is Rick Drumheller, and I am pleased and excited to be a candidate for the vacant position of Magisterial District Judge for Boyertown Berks County District Court 23-3-02! I recently retired as the Chief of Police from Colebrookdale Township, and just previously served 30 years in Pottstown Borough, where I also retired as Chief of Police. As you will see in reviewing my resume, I truly worked from the “bottom” to the “top”, having started my career as a civilian and working my way up the ranks. In addition to my extensive experience in the criminal justice field, I have a broad education and training history in nearly every facet of public safety, including fire, EMS, law enforcement, and public leadership. I am very interested in seeking this position and your support, as I believe I bring to the table an unmatched combination of experience, education, and devotion to the criminal justice system and the desire to continue to serve my community as I have for decades. This amazing opportunity will allow me to best use my experiences and training in a way that would serve all constituents and those before me in court, not just those in a single township or borough. Thank you again for your time and consideration. I look forward to the opportunity to meet you and further discuss my background and education in much greater detail. I am very hopeful and very confident that I will earn your endorsement and your vote for Magisterial District Judge in May of 2023, and I look forward to continuing my 30+year public service career!
